If videogames are one of your hobbies, I'm sure you've already heard of system sellers or killer app. You didn't? Well, my VG 101 says that a system seller's name's the game: a piece of software, where the platform doesn't matter - you NEED the game, no matter what. If you don't own the console, you go ahead and buy it - just for the sake of this one game.

Alright, things explained. Now let it be said, that I've recently watched this Footage of Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion for iPhone/iPod Touch. It's fascinating, I've never been a fan of Apple devices, I even despise the cult around those touchy gadgets - but this footage is seriously letting me want this thingie! To expain: I'm a huge Ace Combat fanboy, and except for AC1 on PSOne and AC Zero on PS2 I've played them all. Yep, even the GBA one, although it sucked big times.

That's just where console fanboyism comes to a skreeky halt, and you begin to rethink, to act like a real gamer, and buy platforms for the game's sake - and not for loyality towards a corporation, which only manages to pull out your money outta the wallet. I mean, I've got a copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for PS3 at home. Do I own a PS3? Naaaaah. I've bought both ZOE Games for PS2 - my PS2 arrived at home almost one and half a year later. Neither do I care on which console ZOE 3 will arrive (Kojima-san promised it, we're getting a new installment! Yesh!), I'll buy a friggen' PC if it comes out PC-exclusive!

If we're already talking about aircraft and mechas: I've been asked by a friend of mine to design some mechas for a tabletop game. Most awesome thing in the world happening, I wanted to go forth and try some designs - until I realized that my pencil was missing. Again and again and again. I'll tell you, if there's one thing that makes me more aggressive than console fanboys and DLC methods of Namco Bandai (*cough*Vesperia*cough*), it's wanting to draw and not having a pencil around. Spent a whole night overwhelmed by hate, and only the next day it was all safe and sound again, when I found mah pencil again - in the deepest depths of my portfolio! xD
